	Paraglider Canopy and Kite Repair
	Canopy repair and Parachute repair services available. Got a rip? Rib blown, too big a mess and you need it sewn? We can do small and HUGE repairs. Repair services available for most models: Paraglider canopy, gliders, chutes, wings, kites, etc. Many original fabrics and lines in stock! Ship your paraglider or canopy to us, we will do an estimate and call you back for approval. Include a note with your shipping info and telephone number as well as a description of the problem. Shop charges are $50 per hour (includes materials). One hour minimum shop charge then 1/2 hour increments.

FAQ for Paraglider/Powered Parachute Repairs

• I have lots of damage can you fix it?
  YES we can repair any chute. A new chute will run around $3000 so if your chute is fairly new, it will most likely be more cost effective to repair it.
  

• How do you make the repairs?
  Most of our repairs are made with matching fabric and matching factory techniques.
  Nearly always, the canopy or glider can be repaired to a 100% airworthy condition.

• How much will it cost?
  Our rate is $50 per hour, which includes all repair materials, labor, repair inspection and post-repair inspection.
  Our minimum shop charge is $50.
  
• CAN YOU GIVE ME AN ESTIMATE?
  Due to the complexity and variety of damages, we do not do estimates over the phone.
  When a glider or canopy arrives at our shop, we will do an estimate and contact you for approval prior to beginning the repair.
  
• How does the repair cycle work? How long will it take?
  Repairs are generally performed on a first-in, first-out basis. So your turn-around will depend on what jobs are ahead of yours. We do small repairs, lines and inspections faster than major repairs.
  If you use GROUND shipping, it generally takes 4-5 business days to get to us and 4-5 business days to be returned to you.
  Within 1-5 business days of arrival, we will do an estimate and call with the expected repair costs.
  After receiving your approval and payment information, the repair will be scheduled and performed.

	Paraglider and Powered Parachute Inspections
	Airworthy inspections are a must for pilot safety, or as a check before purchasing a used glider. Let us give your canopy a professional airworthy checkup. Includes, porosity check, line strength and trim analysis as well as general condition inspections. We service most all of the current models of canopies.

• Can you perform an Airworthy Inspection on my Paraglider/ Powered Parachute?
  YES, We perform Airworthy Inspections (aka 100 Hour Inspection) on powered parachutes and paragliders.
• Why should I get an Airworthy Inspection?
  If your paragliser or powered parachute is over 2 years old, it should be inspected every year or every 100 hours.
  

• How much do you charge?
  We charge a fixed rate of $125 for the Airworthy Inspection.
  Repairs recommended thereafter are performed at the hourly rate of $50/hour.
  Line Replacements are $12 + $3 installation fee.
  

• What does the Annual Inspection include?
  The Airworthy Inspection includes a series of tests to determine airworthiness. The result of this inspection is a document recording the pass/fail of each test performed. Among other things, we test and record the fabric porosity, line strength, fabric rip strength, attachment points, seams, line trim and more. During this inspection we also record any physical damage that we recommend for repair and provide an estimate to do so.

Shipping Directions :
For powered parachutes:
Do not ship 'no-tangle line sleeves' or steel cables. Canopies sent with these items will be charged an additional $20 handling fee. Leave the lines connected to the steel oval quick-links.
For powered parachutes and paragliders:
It is good to pack your chute in the carry bag and put it in a box for shipping.
Inside the box include a note about the work you want done- REPAIR, LINE REPLACEMENT or AIRWORTHY INSPECTION. Include your return shipping information, a contact phone number and an email address if possible.
For Motor Repairs:
If you are sending an Adventure Paramotor for repair or warranty service, generally we will only need the body and motor to be shipped. We would like to speak with you about your unit before you ship it, so be sure to call for an appointment (325)379-1567.
